In our data center, every infrastructure component is designed and implemented based on the "n+1" principle. This means we provide:
- Two independent cable routes for redundancy
- Two network connections for redundancy
- A regularly maintained diesel unit
As a result, hostoo meets the stringent guidelines for "Tier 3" data centers established by the Uptime Institute.
Our data center is well networked. With a broadband external connection via well-known Tier1 carriers and a direct connection to DE-CIX - the largest Internet exchange node in the world - we can achieve maximum performance. And with us, you are also well prepared for the future: Our network is IPv6-capable from the ground up.
Our data center is monitored 24/7. Access to the highly secure server areas is restricted to registered individuals.
Our main power supply is designed for maximum reliability with two independent power feeds. In the event of a failure in the power grid, a backup system is in place to ensure continuous operation of the entire data center. This backup includes a battery UPS and diesel generators. Additionally, we have a sufficient supply of diesel, allowing us to sustain operations during extended outages.
